Ezra Uganda Assistance provides a quarterly Emergency Fund of $2,500 to the Namutumba Abayudaya community. This fund, which is dispersed as needed by a community board, enables payment for unexpected medical emergencies. Through the Emergency Fund, Ezra Uganda Assistance has saved many lives and cured many illnesses, including saving the life of Abigail, a premature infant, by providing funds for her critical post-natal oxygen treatment and other care.
