After discovering that one person in Namutumba had Hepatitis B, the entire community was screened. 15 individuals tested positive, and were treated for the illness with funding from Ezra Uganda Assistance.

The entire Namutumba community was vaccinated against Hepatitis B, which offers long term immunity.
